Presentamos quinta edición de la nueva edición en español de la Biblia de Jerusalén. Se ha mantenido la tradicional fidelidad a los textos originales hebreo, arameo y griego, y la transmisión de las introducciones y notas de la versión francesa. Indicamos a continuación las novedades más importantes de esta quinta edición: - El mismo equipo de especialistas ha editado esta quinta edición, manteniendo los valores centrales de sus traducciones de los idiomas originales: unidad interior de los distintos escritos bíblicos de la Antigua y Nueva Alianza, reflejo del ritmo del verso hebreo en la lírica y atención especial a los lugares paralelos, especialmente en los Evangelios Sinópticos. Esta nueva edición incluye 30% más notas al pie que la edición anterior. Se han revisado literariamente todos los libros del Antiguo y Nuevo Testamento por parte del actual coordinador general Víctor Morla: con acomodación al castellano de los clichés hebreos, mejora en la armonización de textos y pulido del estilo. Se han actualizado las notas de carácter histórico, geográfico y arqueológico, con introducción de algunas nuevas, por parte de Joaquín González Echegaray. Se ha incorporado la traducción de algunos cambios en las notas de la última edición francesa de la Biblia de Jerusalén algunas han sido suprimidas por obsoletas, al tiempo que se han incorporado otras de carácter cultural e histórico-geográfico. Esta nueva edición se beneficia de los estudios e investigaciones de la Escuela Bíblica y Arqueológica de Jerusalén y de los exegetas que forman el nuevo equipo de traductores de la Biblia de Jerusalén en español, permaneciendo fiel a los principios de las ediciones precedentes al tiempo que supone una completa puesta al día de la investigación bíblica de los últimos años. Features of this fifth edition include: - This new edition includes 30% more footnotes than the previous edition. - The same team of specialists has edited this fifth edition, maintaining the core values of their translations of the original languages: unity within the various biblical books of the Old and New Testament, reflection of the rhythm of the lyrical poetry in the Hebrew verses and special attention to parallels, especially those found in the Synoptic Gospels. - We reviewed all the books of the Old and New Testaments on behalf of the general coordinator Victor Morla: with translation of the Hebrew clichés to accommodate the Spanish language, improving the harmonization of the texts and refined style. - Joaquín González Echegaray has updated the historical, geographical and archeological notes and has also introduced some new ones. - We have incorporated the translation of some changes made to the notes of the last French edition of the Jerusalem Bible some have been removed as obsolete, while others have incorporated a cultural, historical and geographical character. This new edition benefits from the studies and research of Biblical and Archaeological School of Jerusalem and the exegetes who form the new team of translators of the Jerusalem Bible in Spanish, staying true to the principles of previous editions while representing a complete updating of biblical scholarship in recent years.
