La Historia general de las cosas de la Nueva España reúne los doce libros editados en México por el monje franciscano Bernardino de Sahagún entre 1540 y 1590 a partir de entrevistas con informantes indígenas en Tlatelolco, Texcoco y Tenochtitlan.
