Bogotá MMX, 200 años después
Resumen del Libro
A graphic memoir of the everyday aspects, relevant and anecdotic of the city of Bogota in 2010. Visiting 20 places all related to Colombia's independence history, a team of 7 photographers (Lucho Mario, Daniel Santiago Salguero, Alberto Sierra Restrepo, Andrés Fresnada, Juan Pablo Fajardo, Armando de la Torre and Juan Felipe Rubio), initiated a photographic project to document diverse personages, places, landscapes and situations of the everyday history of the city. The photographs are accompanied with data, quotes, statistics, and anecdotes coordinated by researchers Catalina Holguín and Juan David Correa; and include texts by author Gonzalo Mallarino, historian Fabio Zambrano and script writer Felipe Tello. This editorial project was part of the celebrations of the Bicentennial of the Independence. For its nature, origin and contents, the book was part of the documents included in the Bicentennial time box closed recently.
