The Design of the home continues to be of great interest to both architects and designers. How to configure a living space according to the characteristics of a site and the specification of the client is still the starting point of any house project. However, the final solutions can be as diverse as they can be interesting. Describes the degree and license mechanisms for the professional practice of architecture in Peru from the first courses in the 19th century through the beginning of the 20th century, with a detailed presentation of the school formation of the architects from 1910 to 1950 in the School of Engineering of the university. The book was originally the author's masters thesis and won the prize "Héctor Velarde" during the XI Bienal Nacional de Arquitectura, organized in 2004 by CAP.
