The fine edition includes the history of the Indian architecture as described by travelers, observers and chronics from colonial times. The collaboration project between architect historian Gasparini and anthropologist Margolies was distinguished in 1987 with the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellowship Fullbright Scholarship.
