This is not a novel. It is not even a story. It is a history. It begins with a man who travels the world. The man's name is Hervé Joncour. You could call it a love story, but if it was only this it would not have been worth telling. The book combines desires and sorrows that have no name.

Puro Cuento is a publication of the Department of Hispanic Studies at Vassar College and it contains original works by our students. It is published yearly, during the summer.
