Hay

This volume was conceived as a sampler of poems published in magazines, and which have not yet appeared in books. It presents the work of Mexican poets who represent different generations, regions and styles. This cross section of poetry chosen without bias will give the reader a rounded picture of the ideas, interests, trends and issues treated by Mexican poets.

The first part of the book includes the work of Jorge Guillen, Vicente Aleixandre, Federico Garcia Lorca, Damaso Alonso, Luis Cernuda, and others. Critical essays on the social and cultural background of the works and studies of the poets themselves comprise the second part.

Julio Piñones ha publicado poemas en revistas nacionales y extranjeras. Ha sido antologado en "33 Nombres Clave de la Actual Poesía Chilena" (Zig-Zag, 1968), en "Poesía Nueva de Chile" (California, 1983) y En el "Ojo del Huracán" (Canadá-Chile, 1991).

Un poemario de Ricardo Cabrera sobre la cidad de Santo Domingo, desde antes de la llegada de los epanoles hasta su hoy de sobrevivencia y motoconcho. En Ricardo confluyen las referencias ritmicas, alquimicas y propias del quehacer de las calles.
