A review and documentation of the collections of the museum of contemporary art located in Santiago, Chile. The museum collection is considered the most important in engravings with 1000 prints along with 600 paintings, 130 drawings, sketches and watercolors and 80 sculptures from the late 19th century to current art. Los centros cerámicos habían desarrollado en tiempos anteriores técnicas peculiares -el reflejo metálico- que tuvieron amplia resonancia en Europa. Pero el Renacimiento va a incorporar una nueva estética y unas nuevas técnicas para la cerámica. Se hará, a imitación de lo italiano, loza pintada con un repertorio de temas decorativos distante de lo mudéjar. lo geométrico da paso, paulatinamente, a las representaciones figuradas, y aparecen las grandes composiciones de azulejos.
