Latin America and the Caribbean Demographic Observatory 2017

The Demographic Observatory 2015 contains selected indicators from the 2015 revision of estimates and projections for the populations analysed. The figures contained in this publication are a revision of those presented in the Observatory 2014 and include updates of the estimations and projections of national populations from 1950 to 2100, taking into account new information sources available for Chile and Guatemala. Future issues will incorporate new estimates and projections, also prepared using the component method, but by simple ages and calendar years.

En esta interpretacion de la historia de Polonia se subraya en particular su vinculacion al cristianismo latino, asi como el papel que ha desempenado frente a los imperios turco y ruso. Este libro es, tambien, un lucido intento por desentranar la historia de la patria de Copernico y de Chopin, de Juan Pablo II y de Walesa; la historia de un pais que desempeno un papel primordial en el desmantelamiento del Imperio sovietico y que hoy, de nuevo, acepta el reto de la conservacion de su soberania y su identidad cultural.

Aunque durante el franquismo mujeres pioneras intentaron hacerse oír para reivindicar sus derechos, la década de los años 70 fue escenario de un movimiento feminista numeroso, plural y muy activo.
